The History of Wildlife in Vermont

Kim Royar, special assistant to the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Commissioner will speak on the history of wildlife in Vermont. She has been a wildlife biologist with the Department of Fish and Wildlife for over 30 years. Her illustrated presentation will follow the evolution of Vermont’s wildlife populations up to the 2014 hunting season. Kim will also bring a sample of wildlife pelts and skulls to help demonstrate some of the various wildlife species that reside in Vermont. Sponsored by the Historical Society of Windham County. The program is FREE and all are welcome.
