“To Watch, To Wait and To Wonder: Works in Clay”, a show partnering ceramic artists Susan Wilson and Anna Koloseike will be on exhibit in the Crowell Gallery from September 1 to 29.  Opening reception will be on Saturday, September 3rd from 3pm to 6pm. As always, Crowell Gallery exhibits are free and open to the public.

Susan Wilson’s work in clay has always been about finding her place in the world.  Using figurative imagery she creates a narrative of connections to her secrets, dreams, fears and hopes.

Anna Koloseike’s figurative sculptures explore themes of our shared human experience imbued with ironic humor, inviting the audience to identify, reflect, and question.

Both artists have common backgrounds teaching art and are well known and respected in galleries across the country.  Susan joins us from her studio in Putney, Vermont while Anna’s studio is a bit further away in Asheville, North Carolina.
