The Moore Free Library in Newfane will be hosting a six month series of workshops on Medicare rights facilitated by the Community of Vermont Elders (COVE). The workshops are free to the public and will be held the second Thursday of each month at 1:30 (following the Community Luncheon at the Newfane Church next door). You do not have to be a Medicare recipient or senior citizen to attend. Presentations last between an hour and an hour and a half, depending on the number of questions. The first workshop, Thursday, November 8, will be on how to spot Medicare fraud and stop yourself or your loved one falling victim to it.
