Kit Barry, Founder & Proprietor of the Ephemera Archive for American Studies will present a talk about the Ephemera Archive, with a special emphasis on Newfanalia on Saturday, January 26th, 1:30 – 3:00 PM

The Ephemera Archive contains over 300,000 original ephemeral artifacts — things designed to be discarded, such as menus, advertisements, postcards and calendars.

Kit will share some of his collection that has a tie-in with Newfane, and he’ll share some stories about teaching elementary school in Newfane in the early ’60s to a tough audience of kids!

Kit will share how the collection can be accessed by the public. If you catch the ephemera bug, you can also volunteer with the archive!
